Isaiah 9:6
For unto us a Child is born, Unto us a Son is given.

Today I have the pleasure of celebrating the 15th year I’ve had with my youngest Son. He was made in the image of God, but looks a lot like my Father in Law. He’s outgoing like me but deep feeling and motivated like my wife. For the last 15 years he has made me laugh, smile, cry and even throw things. Yet, just the mention of his name sparks joy in my heart. I love being a father because it gives me a chance to attempt to show him a portion of the Love that God always shows me. This day is still sweetly bitter because as I celebrate his birth, it is a year closer to the day he leaves to begin his own trek towards Fatherhood. On August 2nd, 2005 unto us a Child is born, Unto us a Son is given.
